Summer Camps 06/01/2015

Project Athlete Summer Training Camps are designed for young athletes to get bigger, faster and stronger with expert instruction and supervision.  Primary focus is on developing efficient movement patterns to improve performance and decrease injury risk.  This is accomplished through proven exercise progressions focused on teaching proper technique, as well as addressing all areas of fitness.  This includes strength, power, speed-agility-quickness, balance and body awareness, flexibility, recovery and metabolic conditioning.  Small group size allows for individual instruction to ensure maximum benefit.  All workouts are instructed by Erik Siftar, MSPT, CSCS, who is a Sports Performance Specialist and a licensed Physical Therapist.  Erik has more than 15 years experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities.

 

· Strength Camps are designed to increase overall body strength: including legs, hips, upper body and core.  Workouts include an injury prevention program.

 

· Speed-Agility Camps are designed to increase speed, agility and quickness by teaching proper running and jumping technique, developing powerful, efficient movement patterns, and performing progressive drills.

 

· Conditioning Workouts are designed to maximize metabolic benefit and improve sport-specific conditioning through high intensity interval training drills.

 

When:   Summer Session 1: July 6 – 31            Summer Session 2: August 3 – 28

  

         Strength Camp:  Monday-Wednesday: Basketball 10-11am; Baseball11-12pm

 

         Speed-Agility Camp: Tuesday-Thursday: Basketball 10-11am; Baseball 11-12pm

 

                Conditioning Workouts:  Saturday - 10am (All sports and ages)

Cost:   *All costs are pre-paid

            One Camp @ 2x/wk: $100/monthly session                

Both Camps @ 4x/wk: $160/monthly session
